This piece feels archetypal and powerful, part woman and part animal as though strength and vulnerability are sharing the same form.
The Language of Stone is a series of abstract modern paintings that I created that are inspired by river stones I personally discovered along the River Gave de Saison in Sauveterre-de-Bearne part of the Basque region in France.
After photographing over 1,400 stones shaped by centuries by the water, stone and time.
This series invites viewers to reflect on the beauty of geological transformation and the profound artistry embedded in the natural world. Marco Sacchi Artist
